My name is Gina Reynolds and I am
the Artisan who's art is featured on this site. I have over
15 years experience working in various art mediums, which include
jewelry art, stained glass, fused glass art, paper art, and polymer
clay . Over the last 5 years I have focused my creative energies
on designing and creating beautiful one-of-a-kind jewelry art.
Additionally, I am a Jewelry Art Instructor for several local retail
bead shops.
Inspiration for my jewelry and functional art designs combine
my love of vibrant colors, appreciation of texture, and fascination of
dimensional and structural art forms. Most of the designs are
influenced by contemporary and modern imagery. Each design is
approached as though starting with a blank canvas and allowing the
colors, shapes, and character of the elements to influence the final
piece.
As a venue to showcase and sale my work, I
schedule annual Art Events, host Jewelry Art parties and arrange
for private sales by appointment. In the future there are
plans to add a shopping cart to this website.

| Art Instruction:
Jewelry & Mixed Media Art |
|
For the past three years, I
have shared my passion for art by teaching
jewelry making and paper arts. Class projects include Wire Jewelry
Art, Fused Glass Basics, Bead Stringing To Embellish, Painting
Backgrounds-Alcohol-Based Inks, Rubber Art Stamping, and Abstract-
Collage Cards.
For my current schedule of jewelry making
classes
go to www.accentsbeads.com
located in Rockville, MD and www.beadersworkshop.com
located in Bowie, MD. |
| Professional Training |
|
Though primarily self taught, I have
completed over 2000 hours of professional training in several art mediums at
several local art institutions and online instructional training.
I credit my initial glass art training with local glass artist Judith
Conway of Vitrum Studio in Beltsville, Maryland, for furthering my
exploration and creative journey down the path of glass and jewelry art.
Additional creative credits are given to Patty
of Queen's Ink, a local stamp art store in Savage Mills, MD.
Techniques used in designing and creating the Art-Card/Greeting Card
Collections were learned taking workshops at the Queen's Ink, spending
time in the stamp art community, and collaborating with other fellow
stamp artist.
